US trip part 1
November 11th, 2008

San Francisco - Exotic Erotic Ball

I just got back from my USA trip and it’s been a wild rollercoaster ride! As you know I went to San Francisco to perform at the EEB, after which I went down to L.A. for photoshoots and to New York to experience the election upclose. Because I’ve really been working non-stop, trying to make to most of my trip I haven’t blogged while I was there.  I’ll start at the beginning, my arrival in SF.

I arrived on thursday evening. Davina, who was running the stripper booth at the Ball was kindly picking me up from the airport. I was pretty tired from that long-ass trip (6000 miles and two lay-overs) but that didn’t stop me from dropping by a halloween store on Haight street with Davina to get some gear for our shows. Oh how I had missed San Francisco! Then we had a quick dinner with a bunch of people from the ball and quickly off to bed. I was starting early afternoon tomorrow and I had several shows at the expo.

The Ball had moved this year from the MASSIVE Cow Palace to Treasure Island which is actually on an island. Such an improvement in my opinion! From outside of the venue you had the most beautiful view on San Francisco Bay and it was a nice Indian summer. I did the shaving show again, because it was very well received last time. Only this time a bit more elaborate with double the time, a bit more of the traditional burlesque vibe, and “more” costuming. (Don’t worry, I took it off throughout the show, ofcourse)

I did the show a few times and it went very well for the most part. Unfortunatly my music stopped during one show, for the biggest part of my act so that took a lot of improvising. The music was drilled into my memory, but I felt bad for the audience because I think the music adds a lot the the overall picture and this way they only got half of my show. Inbetween shows I had to wait a lot but I had fun browsing on the expo, chatting to the other performers and meeting a bunch of nice new people.I took so many pictures that day! Unfortunatly my pc is at the point of breakdown and not working with me right now, so you’ll have to wait untill the next post to see them. Sorry! :-(

Nominated for Dutch sexiest vegetarian
November 3rd, 2008

On Monday November 3rd the election for sexiest Dutch vegetarian starts and I am nominated! Of course it is a big honor to be nominated, but since I do not eat meat for over ten years it would be tremendous to win this election. There wont be some kind of jury to choose the winner, although the winner will be chosen by you! So please vote for me!

The election is organized by Wakker Dier (Awake Animal). Wakker Dier is a Dutch animal welfare organization. Its main purpose is putting an end to factory farming. They setup this election to show that vegetarians are also very sexy people and not a die-hard ecologist. I think you agree that I am not that kind of person. ;-) Besides the women there are also male nominees, of course you can also check them out. You are able to vote until December 20th. Until then I already want to thank everybody for voting for me.

Off to America!
October 22nd, 2008

I’m pretty tired and not at all ready and packed for my U.S. trip yet, but I wouldn’t leave you without a quick “bye for now”-blog!

I’m really getting the hang of this Twitter-thing, so if you like add me up to keep track of me! www.Twitter.com/AncillaTilia

In the morning I’m off to San Francisco first to perform at the Exotic Erotic Ball. I will performing a total of 7 (!!!) times, a few times on Friday and a few times on Saturday, amongst which the mainstage which makes me a teeny tiny bit nervous because it’s a huge arena of people looking at me. It’ll be fun though!

Then off to L.A. That will be a crazy trip! I’ll only be there for five days and it was hell trying to pick a few people to work with when there are a zillion nice, talented photographers, companies, models, designers, make-up artists etc. there that I’ve been dying to work with. I have to console myself with the fact that “I’ll be back”. So far I planned to work with Christine Kessler, Marla Rutherford and Lithum Picnic. I can’t even begin to describe how excited I am about working with those people! I’ve worked with LP and CK before and they’re absolutely the elite of fetishphotographer. House of Bias and Black Licqorish have been nice enough to offer sponsoring some things so I’m excited to see what comes in.

I hope to make it to the L.A. Bondage Ball for Halloween!

Then off to NYC to visit friends like Darenzia & N. and experience the election up close. I’m so lucky to be right there during such a historical day! Like most Europeans I’m a supporter of Obama and I really hope the majority of Americans see that he is absolutely the best president for their country, and the rest of the world. I know I’m suppose to be a good model and not have a political opinion, but this time it can’t be a more obvious choice I would think! So let’s see if I can sneak in a vote while I’m there! hihi ;-)

Oh the past week I had the most awesome shoot with an German artist named Torsten Solin. I was working with a tiger and a church, so it was quite an experience! I really didn’t have time to shoot with my preperations for the U.S. trip, but when he mailed me that he was in Holland I just HAD to make it work. He’s awesome! Really an artist in a truest form of the word and in many different artforms, not just photography. Here’s a little preview……

PS; I SIGNED MY NEW WEBMASTER!!!!!! HE WILL BE STARTING ON DECEMBER 1ST :-) :-) :-)

I’m performing at San Fran’s EEB!
October 11th, 2008

AHHHH I’m so exited! I’ve been booked to perform at the one and only famous Exotic Erotic Ball in San Francisco, on October 25th. It’s the 29th year the party is held and as usual they expect an audience of 10.000 or so. It will be a crazy night!! Drop by if you’re in the neighbourhood :-)

I will be in San Francisco for only five days (I love that place so much!) then off to L.A. for five days or so, doing shoots with kick-ass people like Christine Kessler and then off to New York for a few days where I’ll be staying with the charming Darenzia. Such a short trip, I can only work with a fraction of the people I am dying to work with (again), especially in L.A.! But I’m happy I’ll get to visit at least for a short while.

It’ll be a challenge to get everything done in time for my trip! Especially since my webmaster will be starting at the time that I’m travelling. I’m really embaressed for not updating my website for over a week, but some of the updates I had planned I haven’t gotten the full res photo’s of yet! :-( I am stalking photogs as much as I can and when I have the pics I will upload them like a mad person. I’m really sorry and I’ve not planned anything this weekend so I can totally sort it out.

Blondies..

The past week I’ve had a styling gig, which was fun. It was for a partyflyer with a gorgeous upcoming Dutch model, so I was very honoured to create the whole look on her that was needed for the flyer. I know my face through and through, so it was fun to work with someone else’s face again. Working with a model that was 19 and didn’t have so much experience, much like myself at that age, really made me realise how much I’ve learned in the past few years. It was fun to coach her a little bit and pass on the experience and stupid little photography-facts. In a way I can’t wait to start photographing myself, but I’m already doing too much as it is. One day….! I’ll post the results when the flyer comes out.

Also did a flyershoot with me as a model for my kick-ass Amsterdam NYE performance. Fun but long days! Ofcourse I’ll post when it’s all confirmed and I have the finished results.

It was only a matter of time before I my kittie-kids started modelling. I did my first attempt at a photoshoot with them this week! Dita is really pretty but doesn’t like to sit still. Calvus loved the attention though, and was very happy to pose cutely and look into the camera. Isn’t he pretty?

MTV host audition
October 3rd, 2008

Today is the first day I’ve had a few free hours in the past week, and it’s throwing me off a little! I have so much to catch up on, I’m not sure where to start. I’m now behind on about a thousand emails.. It’s funny, when I answer everyone back I get such a large amount of reply’s back all at once, that I’m almost back where I started again.

I did an audition for MTV netherlands. I think I did really well so I’m quite proud of myself! Those acting lessons are finally paying off :-) I only found out the night before, before I went to bed that they had emailed me the questions they were going to ask me beforehand (that’s what you get when you get so much email, you overlook the most important things!!) I spent the whole night thinking of my answers to those questions, and I only got two hours of sleep before it was time to get up and do an audition looking fresh and energetic..! When I got there I saw there were a lot of great looking young creatives there for the audition as well. Amongst which some people I already knew, Amsterdam is really small like that!

I was called in and I had to stand in the studio from which most shows are hosted. The actual spot you always see on tv! Then I had to look into the camera and do an introduction and talk about a few things, tv-shows, my favorite presenters, my good and my bad sides and other stuff. I was happy to hear they thought I wasn’t nervous, because ofcourse I was! I’m sure it also helped a lot that I’ve done the fridaynight tv-show for over a year now, so I’m quite comfortable talking into the camera. I can only be me and that’s what I have to offer! It will be a while before I hear back from them, but to be honest I don’t think I would get the job because of my “adult” profession history (and present!!). Like I said there were so many nice, pretty, talented possible presenters there for them to choose from. I don’t mind at all though, I’m already busy as it is and I absolutely love what I do!

Speaking of tv, I have a few piccies for you from my the last time I was at Fridaynight Freaknacht (still on national tv channel 3)! It got quite.. well.. hot! The top I am wearing is one of the items I got at the Latexa shop in Copenhagen a few weeks ago. As you can see it fits really nice and snug ;-)

Definatly click on these two pics above or you’ll miss out!

I also had a few meetings with organisors of big parties nationally and abroad, which led to good news, but I’ll have to keep a secret untill everythings confirmed! It’s really big and fun news, so keep an eye on this blog for sure.

Oh, did you see the new slideshow I put up on the newspage? It features some previews of series to be put online in the next month or so! Heavy rubber, high heels, nudes (BOOBIES!), masks, girlfriends, role-playing and tight clinging latex to the curves of the female form, you won’t be missing out!

I only have 10% of a webmaster right now, but together we’re doing our best to cope and get new updates up as soon as we can. Lots of changes, eek! The good news is though, because of one of the changes I can now finally do this on my blog; ” , ‘ ” ) ( * # > :-D Pretty cool eh?

In case you thought my written English was actually that bad, it’s not!!

Marc Deurloo shoot
September 27th, 2008

Hey guys!

It’s friday night and I’m pretty exhausted, but figured I’d give you a little update before I crash. This week I’ve mostly been busy with photoshoots. I did a few assignment shoots for a glamour site, with lots of stockings. It was fun actually, partially they had asked me for my extensive latex wardrobe, but I was also asked to do some straight-up glamour shots which was fun for a change. I can’t post the actual piccies on my site unfortunatly, but I didn’t forget to get you some backstage shots.

Today I had a shoot with one of my countries best celebrity-photographers, Marc Deurloo. He has shot with nearly every cool person in Holland, but also some people like Agyness Deyn. So I believe I can now officially count myself as a cool person. Kidding! Anyway he’s so cool and relaxed and funny I’d totally forget I’m shooting with this superb photographer. Untill you see the photos afterwards ofcourse.

Here are some of the looks we did today! It was a strange mix of fashion, fetish and undefined fun.The photos should be published at the end of the year in a fashion newspaper called Glamcult.

This weekend I will be trying to catch up on email, sleep and put together a new slideshow & updates. And try not to go crazy from my adorable kitties tearing up the house. They’re in their terrible two’s.

Twitter and Netvibes
September 22nd, 2008

Hey guys!

Gosh I’m really so bumbed, unfortunatly my new webbie didnt manage to put up the new series today that I promised you. Were still in the transitioning stage and turned out today not everythings in place yet for him to completely take over. It should be up really soon though!

Being frustrated not being able to update my website, Ive just been signing up to some new networking sites. Im now on www.twitter.com/ancillatilia and www.netvibes.com/ancillatilia. Through Twitter you can follow my every move on all hours of the day (cant say I’m not stalker-friendly..) and what the purpose is of netvibes I’m not totally sure of yet. Me being on all these networking sites (myspace, deviantart, modelmayhem, bondage, rubberpal, hyves, gofetish, altparty, partyflock not twitter and netvibes….. and many more I’m sure) might just be compensation for the fact that I’m digitally inapt.

Hey did you know theres a big chance youre consuming cancer-inducing products on a daily basis? Theres an artificial sweetener called aspartame and its found in many products not only in the U.S. but also in Europe. Its well known that this product is very toxic and brings on many diseases such as cancer, depression and eye-problems, yet it is STILL being few to consumers without further warning. I know this has absolutely nothing to do with me personally or with fetish, but its annoying me so much to see more and more products in the supermarkets every day, with aspartame in them and I thought I’d do my little part to send out a warning to you guys. Dont eat it, its killing you! It sounds drastic and it absolutely is. Read labels, google aspartame. Educate yourself, please.

Oh and if youre on Twitter and netvibes or any of those other silly sites, Id be happy if you add me and spread the word :-)

New FHM and show piccies! :-)
September 19th, 2008

After all my blabbing the last blogpost I’ll keep this one short and sweet. I just have some piccies for you!

The new FHM is out with, ofcourse, another column of mine. It’s about my first steps into fetishparties (which is admittadly some time ago..)  and how to survive your first party. Ofcourse it’s in Dutch, so if you want to read it in English you will have to lobby to the English FHM ;-)

Other then that I got some piccies in my inbox from my performance at B.I.T.C.H last week (or was it the week before..?..ugh..Time flies.)

And here’s another little piccie from the brief newspaper interview I did about my favorite fetishshops in (my hometown) Rotterdam. It’s me shopping for whips at Subliem.

Tonight Its Fridaynight again, so you can find me on the Dutch National tv channel 3 as usual, in the show Freaknacht/NachteGiel.

Manifest, Bedstraps, fetish in public..
September 18th, 2008

And I’m back!

I wanted to write a really nice long review on the Manifest party, but Ive been pretty busy ever since I got back and I have to get up early tomorrow morning so I will see how far I get with it. I can definatly say it was a great party! I wasnt performing this time, I had a shoot on friday and Saturday so that would have been a bit too much. Instead I just enjoyed and met some nice new people! The venue was really nice, you could walk around the different rooms in circles which I liked. The white main area with a dance floor and a stage/catwalk was very nicely lighted and I even belive the music didn’t suck. Unfortunatly I had hurt my toe and I was tightly sucked into a corset and a tight latex outfit so no dancing for me. I did enjoy the shows very much! they were announced and counted down to on big screens in different rooms so you had no excuse to miss them. Organisors, learn something from that, please! I hate missing the shows I came to see and to stand in the crowded dancing area the whole night not to miss out on anything is usually too much.

It’s late and I’m not in the mood to google everyone so forgive me I can’t remember all the performers by name. There was a great pinup-lingerie fashionshow. The girls, from extremely skinny to more then voluptuous were all very pretty and perfectly styled. It showed really nicely how girls in every size can look gorgeous!

Then there was a gay dude who looked like a a hot George Washington who did an elegant striptease. It was actually a really nice show! I also caught Rubberdoll and Faq. I have seen the performence several times but I never get tired of looking at her and her boobies.

There was more then enough room to sit down, which us ladies in high heels always appreciate ofcourse. And they even had clean restrooms! There was a fetish string-quartet playing classical music. That’s exactly what I had in mind for my party Cultus, but I never managed to do. I think classical music and fetishism go nicely hand in hand, and so Im not the only one luckily. It really made the party stand out from other fetish-events Ive been to. I bet you didn’t know I used to play violin myself! So maybe I’m a bit biased..

Also some very nice play-areas, amongst which a medical corner, which matched very nicely with the other white decor. Usually white location and fetish doesnt work, but because it was so nicely lighted, and it had some pretty chandeliers it gave a really nice chique atmoshpere. I always like that in the bigger parties. (the little ones can remain dark and seedy) There was enough play and anough to see. People were very lovely dressed! I saw several outfits that blew me away. Danish people all look like models to me anyway. And they’re so friendly and educated! If I say anymore nice things about Copenhagen and Manifest I’m sure you think I’m bullshitting you. But seriously, I can’t think of anything bad to say. At the end of the evening a very cute girl came up to me and said “do I have anything you can use?” ……… Jeesh, seriously! I’m not telling what happened after that :-P haha!

Like I said I was shooting on Friday and Saturday with Eric Hansen-Hansen The shoot we did on Friday was for a new product called Bedstraps and although it was very tiring it was also a really , REALLY cool shoot. Both Eric the photographer and the guy who started Bedstraps were really super nice and positive people so that just made the whole shoot that much more fun. I can’t wait to show you the results, I think they will blow you away! They’re very pervy, that’s all I will say on that….

I also managed to do a little video with PublicFetishGirls. They usually have amateur girls on their site, which ofcourse I am not, but since the people who run the site are good friends and theyve been really nice to me I didnt mind making an exception at all. As you can guess, the video is of me walking through the street in a full fetish outfit. I was super nervous about it! I know it sounds weird coming from a model/perfomer, but Im actually not a natural exhibitionist at all. Cameras I love, but when people stare at me irl I just get super shy and uncomfortable! So it was a bit of a barrier-breaking thing for me to do. Believe me, people stared alright! But the look of black latex shimmering in the sunlight is a lovely sight. I think you will love the video and I will post it on my website and perhaps on youtube as well once Its edited. Exciting!

Other then that I spent a whole lot of time at the fetishshop of Latexa, where my friend Miss Fuzzy Bunny works. She also runs a latex fashion designer company together with her husband Kenneth called Strange Lifeforms, So ofcourse I could not help but return with a few extra rubber items in my suitcase. They have the cutest little workshop where they make such beautiful rubber clothing. The whole place smelled a sweet scent of rubber :-)

All in all I had a great time spending a weekend in between perverts and creative minds. It gave me some new energie to focus on getting the new webbie and the accompaning paperwork sorted out. Right now I am in the midst of changing everything from one webmaster to another, and I am also changing servers, so some things like the Calendar I cant acces or change. Hence there are some things on there that are not in my actual planning, my apologies for that! A new update should be on by Sunday! Thank you for being so patient with me. I wish things moved faster! Soon this will all be over and things will be running smoothly. :-) All for the better!

Kiss kiss..

PS; remind me to throw away my Bondinage slavegirl dress so I stop wearing it.. !!!

Off to Copenhagen soon..
September 9th, 2008

This weekend I am off to Copenhagen for the Danish fetishparty Manifest. I think itll be a blast! I am staying with the lovely miss Fuzzybunny and I have a few commercial shoots lined up.

This past weekend I was performing on the party B.I.T.C.H. Its usually not my type of party (I think its more kinky rather then fetish) but I did have a great time. There were a lot of people there! Definatly over a thousand. I did a new show on the mainstage which I have never done before together with a male friend (they insisted Id do a show with a guy, so that the ladies would have something to look at too) , including lots of shiny black rubber, a gasmask (in the beginning), boobies, red paint and water. It went really well and people were quite enthousiastic! Unfortunatly my rubber legging slipped down a bit due to the water, and while I was crawling across the stage I busted them :-( Ill need some new ones!

I was wearing my cute House of Harlot pink pearlsheen dress before the show, but after the show I was so wet and fucked up from the paint and the water! The shower was very cold and I had to put on my little black cotton dress to dry up a bit because there were no towels. So after my show I mostly stayed backstage with the regular Dutch fetish crew. I did catch the Ropemarks show and it was very sexy! I tried to go out and enjoy the party a bit, but everytime I did I’d run into someone I knew so I never got very far.

Oh look what somebody sent me; its me in Barcelona! I have no idea what it says but I think it has something to do with fashion ;-)

I just updated the FanZone gallery with a new series of me with Maria Kalista. We had great chemistry so you should definatly check it out! Oh and I did her make-up in this series.

I am still trying to sort out webmaster-stuff. I wont bore you with the technical details but I can tell you its a headache and I’m still covered in legal stuff and paperwork. It sucks!

I got my two spynxkitten-babies last week and I am enjoying them thouroughly! The girl has been mentioned here before and is named Dita, I also couldn’t resist her little brother and I named him Calvus. Its a Latin name for someone who’s bald, and as you know they’re hairless cats so its perfect. They smell like baby and they keep me warm at night! I can’t stop playing with their little wrinkles. :-)

I’ve also been spending hours on my new FHM column! Its now changed to over a 1000 words (that’s writers-language for A LOT) and I still need to get used to the fact that it takes a lot more of time! I usually write a lot more at first, and then edit out what I like least. The topic I’m writing about now is making your own porn!

Tomorrow I’m going down to my hometown of Rotterdam to do an interview with the newspaper Algemeen Dagblad/Rotterdams Dagblad about my favorite fetishshops there. I feel really excited to have this chance to promote the fetishcommunity in my hometown!

Performing @ Bitch, Attending Manifest
August 30th, 2008

Spent the other night on tv with Giel Beelen on location from Woodstock festival, but I have no piccies for now, sorry!

It has been confirmed that I will be performing at the big Dutch kinky party Bitch Festival. It will be held next Saturday Sept 6th near Amsterdam. I don’t do many shows in the Netherlands, and I will be performing a new act for this party. Stop by if you like big parties!

I will also be attending Manifest in Copenhagen. I’m really excited about that because I love Denmark and the people there. A good fetishparty to go to, to kick off the European fetish-season!

Abandoned Castle - Part 2
August 27th, 2008

….

Rifles are very unusual in Europe, except for the occasional hunter. We dont have a right to guns in Europe like you do in the U.S. So when someone does have a gun, its very awkward. The guy had told him we were trespassing and that we had to leave. But since the castle isnt owned by anyone, why would he have the right to tell us anything? Especially since we werent vandalizing or anything. Badpakje had said he had to go get his friends, but since it didnt sound at all like the man was an official, more just a nosy neighbour, we didnt make any moves to leave and soon after we heard the guy leaving on his motorvehicle. Phew!

We finished off the shoot and I quickly changed so we could have a final quick tour of the place, before we would go back home. Badpakje and Patrick were putting away the lights into the van, so I already went inside. I had only just stepped in when I heard arguing outside so I went back to see what is up. A guy with an suv was throwing a fit at the guys, saying how we were trespassing, and how we had a big problem. It was very bizarre. When he saw me coming up he quickly finished his rant and stepped into his car saying we were going to pay for this!!… Patrick just kept apologizing and saying how we hadnt meant any harm and how we were just looking. I was very happy I was no longer in my nuns-outfit! We were all a bit confused by what he had meant, by it was clear we had to get out of there. What a shame, there were so many rooms I hadnt seen yet! I would have loved to have visited the clocktower and the dungeon. (yes, there was one!)

Once we drove off, it became clear what the guy had meant. He had blocked the only road out with his SUV! We could see him sitting in the garden of his very expensive landhouse. Fuck?? What were we going to do?? We discussed in the car for a few moment, deciding that if it came to that we would call the police first. The place isnt officially owned by anyone we believe, and as the students earlier in the day, and many online videos prove the castle is being visited by people all the time, for years on end. Now all of a sudden we were the bad guys? There was only one thing to do, and that is to go talk to the guy. Maybe now that I was there it would help, the guys figured. So we rang the bell … Nothing. We rang it again. Talking inside. Tapping our feet and looking at out watches. A woman opened a sidedoor and blankly looked at us. We believe your husband blocked the exit and we would like to leave. We didnt mean any harm and were leaving now we said. We got another, kinder rant from the woman. About how this was their property (yeah right..) and how we would feel if she was walking in our backyard. If I had a backyard like theirs, I would probably say; wow, youve come all the way from Holland to see my backyard? How lovely! Would you like some tea, a biscuit? Please, sit down and be welcome!!….. But I kept quiet. Being half Belgian, I know they can sometimes overreact to following rules and discipline. No offence if you happen to be Belgian like me. I knew they just wanted to rant and show us they were superior. Respect my authority!! As Cartman would say.. We would bow at their feet, kiss their shoes, apologise and accept that we were inferior, and they would let us go. Lo and behold, it worked! My husband will let you go in fifteen minutes She said. And off we were, pictures securely in our cases :-)

Abandoned Castle - part 1
August 26th, 2008

Yesterday I shot with Patrick Ceuppens in an abandoned castle in Belgium. It was totally incredible!

I was picked up early in the morning by forumee Badpakje (means bathingsuit.. for his bathingsuitfetish), who was nice enough to gives us a ride with the van and assist in our photoshoot for the day. From Badpakjes house to mine, to Patricks in Antwerp, to the castle was an impressive ride of 6hours (and back!) But a fun one, catching up on the latest news in fetish and me doing my hair and make-up. It was funny, Patrick and me had arranged a nun-costume especially for this photoshoot, and on the drive down to the castle we passed through the little village where I spent some of my childhood in a catholic school. Where I had experienced real-life nuns for the first time as a young girl. A good sign perhaps?

After driving for hours on end, through the forest and not knowing for sure if we were at the right place, an amazing gothic-style castle appeared in front of us, like out of nowhere. It was totally surreal! The place has been abandoned for over 15 years and you can really see nature reclaimed it. It is one of the most beautiful buildings mankind has ever built, and it is now beyong repair. Such a tragedy, really. Can you imagine people lived here once upon a time?? Anyway, I really wanted to do a little dance of joy that we arrived at the place. We were officially trespassing and it was like discovering a secret jewel that is not suppose to be seen! I hope Im not becoming addicted to abandoned places??

After a quick bite to eat we started exploring the place a little bit. It was actually a bit dangerous, because a lot of the ceilings are coming down and the floors are not very trustworthy. I can go on and on about how beautiful it was, but you can see the photos. I am not quickly scared and all, and I always find it a challenge to find things (movies, amusementpark ghosthouses, pictures of spiders) that scare me. I have to admit though, this place was actually creeping me out a little bit! Maybe because it is so beautiful, so surreal and of such stature, that you instinctly feel that there must be something very wrong with it, for it to be standing here abandoned and for only us to see.

You can imagine my scare, when I suddenly heard whispering voices. They sounded quite far though, so it was hard to hear what kind of company we had.. Although Im not sure if ghosts and live people sound any different. I walked into the next room, well I dont know a better word but it was not an ordinary small room. When I turned around the corner I jumped a hole in the air and squeecked! A big group of students with cameras in their hands were looking at me and giggled. I discretely waved and blushed, before moving on the the rest of the rooms.

We didnt have enough time to explore the whole castle, because we had to finish the photoshoot before it got too dark and too cold. Although it was sunny day, the inside of the caslte was already cool and there was a chilling light breeze everywhere. We would have closed a window but all 550 of them were broken. So no more fun and games, off to work! I got to scare the students back, because when they came off the stairs all of a sudden there was a mysterious nun standing downstairs, haha! They left soon after and we had the place to ourselves.

We did a shoot on the stairs of the main hall at the entrance, because of the pretty ceiling and the size. It took some time to set up the lights though, and I got cold pretty quickly. It was also getting more dark inside, and we had to drive all 6 hours back to Holland after the photoshoot, or I would have done another outfit there. We did do a quick shoot outside in the back of the castle, where the garden had some beautiful old stairs. When we were almost finished, Badpakje came running back and told us that there was a man with a rifle standing in the front…

Abondoned Castle - part two … Only on my website from tomorrow on! :-)

Ms. Susn’s wedding :-)

Oh my god things are so crazy right now.. As you know I am hiring a new webmaster, but it’s really a pain in the butt. The guy I found is great and I really want to hire him. It will happen, it just won’t go easily. It’s just so much to take into account; negotiations, piles of paperwork, different calculations that apply to different options, and a massive amount of taxes to hire an actual employee, courtesy of the Royal Kingdom of the Netherlands. I wish I could move faster, but I can’t! I keep telling myself I will look back in two years time and laugh about this situation. But right now it’s not easy and taking a lot of my energy to hang in there and not give up AncillaTilia.com! I’m just really impatient to make massive improvements to my website, create more exclusive material, and do better promotion. Let alone my new role as a “boss”, it will take some getting use to! I’m sure anyone with their own company can relate. Appearently in Asia, when people don’t like you they’ll “wish you a lot of personnel”! But do it right or don’t do it at all, right??

So.. I was really happy when I got invited to my friend Ms. Suzn’s wedding :-) Romance, what a perfect way to take my mind off of things! I’d never really been to a wedding before, except one of a friends friend, and it was really lame. It just seems like Dutch people don’t get married much, or at least not the people in my envirement. So I was really exstatic Suzn found the man of her wildest dreams, and that I got to experience an actual wedding! I myself almost got married in Las Vegas once upon a time.. I thought it would be really cool and cheesy! But then when we got there I found the place to be so horrendous I didn’t want the memory of “the best day of my life” to be stuck to that place. So eventually we didn’t. But if you don’t register the wedding in Holland, it doesn’t count when you get married in Vegas :-) I don’t think I’d get married “for real” really fast or easily. Besides, I can’t, a Thai fortune teller once told me I shouldn’t get married before 30 ;-)

My crazy idiotic friends. Suzn, Mari, Peter, Me-chiel, Amarantha, & Saryn.

You can see me thinking.. “Oh my god, am I next..?”

So back to Suzn! Everyone who knows “Suusje” knows that when she gets married, it won’t be a conventional wedding! When I arrived to the cityhall of the beautiful city of Alkmaar, there was a beautiful pink cadillac outside and I knew I had arrived at the right place. She walked down the aisle to the tunes of rockmusic. She looked absolutely gorgeous! The contrast of her with pink rockabilly hair, her trademark tattoos and piercings and wearing a stunning white weddingdress was just great. I loved how, for the special occasion, her rough piercings had a romantic touch. After the “I-do’s” we went outside to blow soapbubbles onto the happy newlyweds.

The afterparty was awesome. Nothing fancy, just at someone’s house, but a lot of fun and nice people. Ofcourse there was a selection of fetishpeople there too, and we found it to be hilarious to see eachother OUT of rubber! I realised that I haven’t even seen some of my friends in vanilla wear, ever! Ofcourse all the single girls got rounded up and the bouquet got thrown.. And guess who cought it? :-) “Oh my god, am I next???” Appearently so!
